SNACKS
There are 2 snack periods at 10AM and 2PM. Campers must bring their own food and drinks each day. Please send enough snack foods and lunch items to hold your camper over for 4 or 8 hours, as well as plenty of cold water. As in school, children will not have access to a refrigerator. Campers should bring their food and drinks in a labeled, insulated bag. Due to space constraints, please don't send large bags. Unless your child is a full day camper you do not need to send lunch. The morning session campers are dismissed before lunch - the afternoon session campers arrive after lunch. WATER: It is EXTREMELY important that children come to camp with a large water bottle. Children are very active at camp, so they need to drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. Be sure to write your child's name on their water bottle with a sharpie. Juice drinks may only be used during lunch and snack. We sell large water bottles for $1 and small water bottles for .50 cents |
CLOTHING/FOOTWEAR
All campers should wear comfortable clothing. Girls are encouraged to wear shorts or skorts and a modest t-shirt (shorts MUST be worn under dresses or skirts). Hair MUST be pulled back off the neck and secured for the day. For safety reasons campers MUST wear sneakers to camp. Please no crocs, flip-flops or sandals! CELL PHONES CELL PHONES OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES OF ANY KIND ARE NOT PERMITTED AT CAMP. Parents and campers can communicate with each other using our phone: 239-261-2606. That being said, we understand some parents may want their child to have a cell phone so while they are discouraged - they are not banned but they may not be used at all during camp and must be kept in your child's bag at all times and not on their person - there are no exceptions! Campers attempting to use their phone during the day will have their phone confiscated until dismissal. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items. |
DISCIPLINE
It is imperative that ALL campers have an enjoyable experience in a safe environment. All minor discipline issues will be dealt with by the head counselor who will go over the camp rules at the beginning of each session. If camp rules are broken or a camper is uncharitable to his/her peers, or counselors, the parent will be notified. Disrespect, teasing, poor sportsmanship, confrontational, or physical contact of any kind will not be tolerated. If a serious problem arises, the parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up their child. |
