SNACKS/LUNCH/WATER
FOOD: There is 1 snack period each day at 10:00am. Campers must bring their own food and drinks each day (enough snack foods to hold your camper over until lunch time) as well as plenty of cold water. As in school, children will not have access to a refrigerator. Campers should bring their food and drinks in a labeled, insulated bag every day. Due to space constraints, please don't send large bags. You do not need to send lunch - campers are dismissed at noon. WATER: It is EXTREMELY important that children come to camp with a COLD water bottle. Children are very active at camp so they need to drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. Be sure to write your child's name on their water bottle with a sharpie. We also sell water for .50 cents |
MISCELLANEOUS
CLOTHING & PERSONAL BELONGINGS: For safety reasons children must wear sneakers to camp everyday – please no flip-flops or sandals Children SHOULD NOT bring any important or expensive personal belongings with them to camp including portable game players and iPods. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Cell phones are discouraged but not banned - they must be kept in your child's bag and not on their person. DISCIPLINE It is imperative that all campers have an enjoyable experience. All minor discipline issues will be dealt with by the head counselor who will go over the camp rules each Monday. If any camper is disrespectful to his/her peers, or counselors, the parent will be notified. Disrespect, teasing, poor sportsmanship, or confrontational physical contact of any kind will not be tolerated. If a serious problem arises, the parent/guardian will be asked to come pick up their child. |
